Hey Church!

Today, I want to ask you to please watch the video below featuring the song “Praise” by Elevation Worship. We plan to sing it this Sunday and I hope you will BRING THE ENERGY you see in the video. Notice the joy! 

There is true power in the praises of God’s people. When we come together for worship, the camps of our enemy tremble! And think about this: people who are utterly lost and dying without Jesus will be with us on Sunday, looking around to see if you really believe in the hope of the gospel. Your outward, joyful, LOUD singing can actually be used by the Spirit to convert unbelievers! If you don’t believe me, just read 1 Corinthians 14:24-25.

Never forget that your worship matters to everyone else in the room. It is not about you but about worshiping God in a way that will inspire, encourage, and sharpen the whole Body. So, not merely for the sake of appearances, but really and truly for the sake of God’s glory and the edification of His Bride, BRING THE ENERGY this Sunday.  “Take heed, then, often to come together to give thanks to God, and show forth His praise. For when you assemble frequently in the same place, the powers of Satan are destroyed, and the destruction at which he aims is prevented by the unity of your faith.” – Ignatius of Antioch (AD 35-107)
