Hey Rio Family!

As Christians, voting is more than just a civic responsibility—it is a reflection of our values and faith in action. By casting our votes, we have the opportunity to be salt and light in a world that desperately needs the values of God’s kingdom. It’s crucial that we are informed and prayerful about how we engage in this process.

This Election Day, one of the most critical issues we face is Amendment 4, which addresses significant changes to abortion laws in Florida. This decision will directly impact the regulations surrounding the sanctity of life, a core value for many of us as believers. It is important that we approach this issue prayerfully and with a clear understanding of what is at stake.

To help you better understand what Amendment 4 entails and its potential impact, we’ve created a short video. In it, Senior Pastor Tom Hendrikse explains the legal changes proposed, why this issue is critical for our faith community, and how we can prayerfully consider our vote with compassion and conviction.

Please take a few minutes to watch, and feel free to share it with others who may find it helpful.
