Prepare
for Worship

By: Ryan Brasington

Hey, Church!

Wherever you may be right now, I want to invite you to take a moment to make it a sacred space. Close doors, turn off noise; let the family know you need a little alone time with God. Go for a walk with your phone and some headphones, or sit in the driveway and listen on the car sound system.

Linked below is a 30-minute worship time led by Elevation Worship in a living room setting that I hope will be a blessing to you. If you are able, start your Sunday morning with it. Don’t just watch; join in! Let your surroundings fade into the background and make their songs prayers of your own.

Lastly, I want to remind you to listen for any lyric or idea that jumps out at you. You have learned through Personal Worship to lectio the scriptures. I hope you will have a similar mindset whenever you worship. Listen as loudly as you sing. Pay attention to the voice of the Holy Spirit and what He might be trying to preach to you through these songs. I trust He will meet with you in this moment.

Your brother,

Ryan
