Ask for the Lord to close the door in your mind to all the failures of your past and to allow you to see yourself as he sees you! Pray that he would give you renewed passion to press on! Ask him to impress upon you the greatness of the prize of the “upward call of God in Christ Jesus”!
Pray that those who are asleep in the church and have laid down this call would wake up and passionately pursue their first love again! Pray that, as we begin this new fall season at Rio, our people would each engage in the rhythms of the church, find a group and purpose to grow in the disciplines of the faith and, thus, in your relationship with Christ!
