Rio Vista Church

A Journey
Into Rio Vista
Church.

What Is Discover Rio?

No matter if you’re new to Rio Vista Church or you’ve been attending for a while, Discover Rio is the best way for you to get connected. It is a six-week journey that guides you to learn about who we are, where we’re going, and why you matter!

This class, if you so desire, culminates in membership at Rio.

When is the next class?

Discover Rio will meet at 10:15am in the Ingram Cafe (immediately after 1st service).

Our Core Values:

1.  Gather Weekly

Each and every one of us worships something, whether that is directed to God, self, or something else. Join us as we discuss how our weekly rhythm of worship not only re-directs our affections and imprints the Gospel on our souls, but it also connects the family of God in ways that encourage us toward love and good works.

2.  Connect Relationally

We were created to be known, both by our Maker and one another. But let’s face it; we lead hectic and isolated lives. Too many of our relationships are merely casual, even impersonal. The church is God’s answer to our “aloneness.” At Rio, we see Groups as a “microcosm” of the church community. Join us as we discuss how a Gospel-centered community enables us to come out of our hiding and into a community where we can be fully known and fully loved.

3.  Grow Spiritually

The Good News of Jesus is the most incredible story that the world has ever heard. At Rio Vista Church, we believe there is only one gospel, the gospel that is the power of God for the salvation of all who believe. To know the true gospel of Jesus Christ is to understand who Rio Vista is.

4.  Serve Generously

We have been created on purpose, for a purpose. Our God is a “sending God.” The Father “sent forth his Son” to redeem us (Galatians 4:4), and the Son now sends us into the world. It’s how Jesus is bringing redemption and renewal to our community and the world. It’s why you’re here.
Join us as we discuss how each and every one of us has been uniquely wired and gifted to make much of Him within our city.
