Alpha is a place to explore the Christian faith with others. It’s a series of 9 interactive sessions where you get to explore faith and wrestle with the big questions of life in a fun and nonjudgmental environment.
Each week we will gather as a group to connect over a meal, watch a video on the basics of the Christian faith, and discuss what we think in an honest and safe environment.

Behold, Your King
The Gospel of Matthew
Join us as we walk through the Gospel of Matthew in our sermon series; Behold, Your King. In our first week, Pastor Tom Hendrikse leads us through the story of Jesus’ birth in Matthew 1, showing how encountering Jesus reshapes everything and calls for wholehearted surrender. When we truly see Him, we’re willing to joyfully give up anything to have Him, and like Joseph, we’re invited to trust God, lay down what stands in the way, and embrace the One who is better. Rio Kids is the next generation of leaders. Every Sunday from 6 months to 5th grade, are equipped with knowledge of the love of God and their identity. Rio Kids services happen simultaneously with Rio Vista Church services and through online content.

Rio Students exists to be a safe place where 6th-12th grade students can belong as they journey through their beliefs about life, faith, and God in community.
