Alpha is a place to explore the Christian faith with others. It’s a series of 9 interactive sessions where you get to explore faith and wrestle with the big questions of life in a fun and nonjudgmental environment.
Each week we will gather as a group to connect over a meal, watch a video on the basics of the Christian faith, and discuss what we think in an honest and safe environment.

Behold, Your King
The Gospel of Matthew
Join us as we walk through the Gospel of Matthew in our sermon series; Behold, Your King. This week, Student Ministry Director Will Buschmann walks through the Beatitudes, showing how the blessed life Jesus describes is ultimately a picture of Jesus Himself. As we see Christ in the poor in spirit, the meek, the merciful, and the peacemakers, we’re invited to embrace the values of His kingdom and let our lives shine as salt and light in the world. Rio Kids is the next generation of leaders. Every Sunday from 6 months to 5th grade, are equipped with knowledge of the love of God and their identity. Rio Kids services happen simultaneously with Rio Vista Church services and through online content.

Rio Students exists to be a safe place where 6th-12th grade students can belong as they journey through their beliefs about life, faith, and God in community.
