The Marriage Course

Navigating Married Life Together

The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions, designed to help couples, whether married or in a long-term relationship, invest in and strengthen their relationship. Everyone is welcome to attend no matter their faith background.

Our seven sessions will explore:

What to expect:

01. Food

Since we understand that life can be chaotic, we want to provide a platform where you and your significant other can have a date night on us. Don’t worry about the candles, drinks, or food. We got you covered.

02. Talk

The Marriage Course videos are designed to be engaging and inspire conversation. Usually around 30 minutes long, they involve a practical talk on topics related to marriage.

03. Private Discussion

The Marriage Course episodes are interspersed with times for private conversation; these are opportunities for couples to talk together about an area of their relationship.

When Does It Start?

The course will be on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm beginning September 27, 2023, at Rio Vista Church in the Worship Center. The course will run for 7-consecutive weeks.

Will Childcare Be Available?

Childcare (infant – 5th Grade) is available from 6:30 – 8:30 pm on Wednesday Nights at Rio Vista Church.

The suggested donation to help cover childcare costs is $6 per child. However, please do not allow the cost to prevent your attendance! Additionally, please know that dinner will not be provided but if you would like to send a meal or snack, we will help feed your child. Please pack all necessary water bottles, diapers, etc. as needed.

***Please note that childcare closes at 12pm on Tuesday on the week of the event

If you have a Middle School Student, we encourage you to get them connected with our Student Ministry that takes on Wednesday Nights from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at Rio Vista Church in the Attic. To learn more about Rio Students, please click on the link below.

Meet Your Hosts

Mason and Tara have been married for 10 years and have 2 children. They met while attending the Florida State University and moved back home to South Florida. Tara is a stay-at-home mom and Mason is a pastor at Rio Vista Church. They love spending time with family and friends, gathering people around a table, and spending Friday nights falling asleep watching Netflix.
