MAY 2ND

National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance held on the first Thursday of May, designated by the United States Congress, when people are asked “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.”

As we look forward to May 2nd,  we encourage you to take advantage of the provided resources to help you intercede on behalf of our nation.

1ST AND 3RD WEDNESDAYS

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Nehemiah lived in a day and age when Judea and Jerusalem were in shambles. More than a century earlier, after God had given them countless warnings to turn away from their wickedness, the Lord withdrew from His temple and allowed the kingdom of Judah to fall. The Babylonians invaded, destroyed the temple, tore down their buildings, demolished the city walls, led the Jews into exile, leaving the holy city of Jerusalem in ruins. When the Jews were finally permitted to return, they had the monumental task of rebuilding the city and rebuilding their covenantal relationship with God. As we watch our own society plunging into decline, Nehemiah offers an encouraging message of hope and a sacred call to action.

Taught by Pastor Sam Kastensmidt

OCTOBER 22 – NOVEMBER 2

ITALY TOUR

This will be a tour of Italy from a Protestant perspective. Pastor Tom Hendrikse and Dr. Warren Gage will share biblical teachings and talk about Christ in creation as we enjoy Tuscany and Umbria in the fall and harvest season. In Rome, we’ll discuss the Book of Romans and see the Mamertine prison, where Paul was held and where he likely wrote the epistle of 2 Timothy. In Florence, we’ll see the city that gave birth to the Renaissance, which fueled the Reformation through figures like Savonarola. We’ll see the masterpieces of some of the greatest Christian artists who ever lived and learn about the connections to Christ in the Bible stories they portrayed. Join us for this special journey together of faith and fellowship!

JANUARY 18- MARCH 14

ALPHA

Alpha is a place to explore the Christian faith with others. It’s a series of 9 interactive sessions where you get to explore faith and wrestle with the big questions of life in a fun and nonjudgmental environment.
